A Black And White Outfit On A Casual Day – By Lo Stilista – “The Indian Fashion Blog”
The trip to Bangkok was fun especially because of the shopping part. I’ve been thinking lately to plan a trip once a year only because of Shopping. It’s not that I’ve got a tree in my garden where I fetch out my money from, actually and honestly, I don’t have a garden in the first place. 😀 It’s just that I’m gonna hold myself everytime I’m in a mall to never slip out of my budget. Trust me guys, Bangkok is a cool place to buy cool stuff. You get to see things that are yet to be welcomed in India. You can rely on it, really! Above all, you get to travel! The other day when I was scrolling my Insta and what I found there was a dress on Lulu & Sky’s page that seemed quite similar to what I saw in one of the small shops at Bangkok and guess what, the price was almost 1/4th of the price at Lulu & Sky. I wish I hadn’t left it. But anyway, that was not destined to be mine, or maybe, that’s what I can tell me to console myself, lol.
Talking about this black and white outfit which is plain and simple to explain, is not from Bangkok though. The skirt at least is a repetition. Oh yes! Check out my post and you’ll know! The white shirt is a new one indeed and I recently realized its importance. White shirts are evergreen and versatile. You can mix and match it up with anything you like. It’s definitely a summer must-have. Check out my article Summer Wardrobe Must-Haves to know more of must-haves for your wardrobe, just like a white shirt.
Coming back to my black and white outfit, I tried a minimalistic approach when it came to my accessories. A double-layered dainty necklace and big golden hoops did well enough. My usual wrist-watch made the outfit a bit classier. And the shoes, this time for a change, consists of heels. These are leather(not original one) boots and I could manage them for a day, right? That’s what I mentioned earlier as well! I can carry them easily but, 99.99% of the time I try and avoid any hassles that come my way.
There goes my finished outfit, complete and sober. The only part that made difference to this outfit is the cape sleeves and the mesh floral embroidered panel on the shirt, otherwise, I’m not that simple to go with plain white and blacks. A little bit of play is always necessary to quit the monotony.
