As assured, here comes another outfit from Lulu&Sky. Lace trims all over the outfit are giving more of a royal feeling especially when it’s carried with a straw hat that has a lovely bowknot at the back of it. Laces were enough to bring a twist to the outfit though, cutout shoulders were added as a cherry on top. This dress, in my opinion, is a perfect combination of classic and glamour. Lulu&Sky offers quite a unique stuff and I love to explore their store on and off. Talking about its price, it doesn’t ask for much though. Obviously, that’s nowhere near to what you can get in Sarojini, but that’s how it should be. You must be willing to pay for something that stands out. About my jewelry, I preferred to wear something light and elegant so these dazzling gold-plated hoop earrings did well to keep me content on my decision.
The lace dress is not a new concept at all. Early 16th century was the time when this was developed in Europe and continued to be a part of the outfits since then and was suitable for both men and women. Lace was considered as the sign of sophistication and delicacy and was often the most expensive part of the outfit in the history probably because of its painstaking production. When things are demanded as hand-made, it’s no doubt time consuming and would need more hands resulting in more labor cost which gets added to the final amount. But it’s no more a time when anything is restricted to anyone. Machines have been made and people are quite comfortable with it which has made it affordable to almost every class out there.
This could be pulled off well with some elegant jewellery, a tote briefcase bag and stiletto heels for sure but I could only manage to pair it up with this weaved sling bag and same old floral slippers considering limited time and energy to shop, and also because that’s all you could carry well in a place like Bali. You’d hardly find anyone who’s being more attentive towards their looks. That place is just about relaxing no matter who thinks what.
We went to Rock Bar which is all about sunset, drinks and of course food and is only accessible via AYANA Resort and Spa cliff side area. The entire pictures were clicked at the resort area itself. They had such a beautiful pool right in front of the sea so the sight was worth experiencing.
Hope you enjoy the pics! 🙂
